So what do you actually smash in a rage room? It is a fair question, and the answer is a mix of the safe, satisfying and slightly silly. Here is what real venues usually stock, what is off limits, and what you can smash in our online one.

What real rage rooms usually provide

• Crockery: plates, cups and bowls.
• Glass bottles and jars.
• Old electronics such as printers, keyboards and monitors, where the venue allows it.
• Sometimes bigger items like furniture, often as an upgrade.

What is usually off limits

• Anything you bring yourself. Venues want to know exactly what is being broken.
• Items that could release dangerous dust, gas or chemicals.
• Anything with a safety risk the staff have not checked.

Always follow the venue's rules. They are there so everyone goes home with all their fingers and eyebrows.

What you smash in Rage Pit

The online room has no rules about glass, because there is no glass. You get four rooms full of things to wreck:

• The living room, with the telly, lamps, plants, picture frames and a sofa.
• The office, with the monitors, the printer, the keyboard and the water cooler.
• The kitchen, with the microwave, toaster, blender and a stack of plates.
• The bathroom, with the mirror, the toilet and a rubber duck.
