9 Rage Room Weapons: Hammer, Bat, Axe, Katana and More

Every weapon in RAGEPIT, our free online rage room game, swings differently and is better at some materials than others. Here are all nine, what each is good at, and how to choose.

The nine rage room weapons

• Hammer: the all-rounder. Never a bad pick, so it is a good first weapon.
• Bat: big sideways swings. Glass and ceramics fly.
• Crowbar: quick and nasty. It rips electronics apart.
• Katana: the fastest blade. It slices soft stuff and bounces off hard stuff.
• Axe: slow and brutal. It splits wood in a few chops.
• Sledgehammer: the heaviest thing in the room. One swing, one wreck.
• Frying pan: BONNNG. It flattens glass and crockery.
• Golf club: long, fast and sideways. Screens do not stand a chance.
• Keyboard: the office classic. Weak and quick, and the keys fly off.

Which weapon should you use?

It depends what you are smashing:

• Soft things like cushions and plants: katana.
• Electronics and metal, such as monitors and printers: crowbar.
• Glass and crockery: bat, golf club or frying pan.
• Wood and furniture: axe or sledgehammer.
• Not sure: the hammer is a safe bet.

Swap weapons to score more

Your style meter climbs when you hit different things and swap weapons mid-combo, from D all the way up to SSS, where every hit is worth double. On a keyboard you can press 1 to 9 to switch, and on a phone you tap the weapon rack. Each weapon's card in the Arsenal shows what it is good and bad against.
